Day 2

American college campuses have been wracked by contentious debates on the rights of students and faculty to freely express views and the need to ensure a safe and open public square for all, regardless of religious background. In this panel discussion, Jewish, Christian, and Muslim leaders will examine civil liberty and moral responsibility, drawing on their respective religious traditions to renew the spirit of free and civil discourse in our universities. Grounded in both religious and practical experience, the conversation will offer concrete principles for protecting the vulnerable while safeguarding vigorous debate.
