Emily Ann Milnes is an attorney and Chief of Staff for the Libertas Council, a leadership organization that affirms human dignity by reforming systems to stop human traffickers and usher all into freedom. Before starting the Libertas Council, Emily was an immigration lawyer specializing in forced labor and sex trafficking cases in the United States. She also served in East Africa with International Justice Mission designing a program addressing crimes of violence against women and children and led program relations for Pepperdine University School of Public Policy. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Laws in dispute resolution focusing on genocide and reconciliation. Emily speaks frequently on vocation, human dignity, law, and policy.
