Radical Re-humanization: Lessons from the Rwandan Genocide

The story of how the word “genocide” was coined and became international law holds important lessons contrasting human dignity with dehumanization. With the Rwandan Genocide as a case study and drawing from lessons learned during a recent roundtable in Rwanda involving government, civil society, academia, and the faith community, we will examine principles of reconciliation and Christian humanism while considering what it means to engage vocationally with the world around us today.
