The Austrian Temptation: Can Austrian Economics Serve a Humane Vision of the Person?

Various elements of Austrian economics have been incorporated - either partially or fully - into a variety of political and philosophical traditions, including libertarianism, Republican populism, and Catholic integralism. This lecture explores which insights from Austrian thought are attractive to each group, any whether their use is consistent with Christian tradition regarding the human person.
