Legislating Morality: It's Not as Scary as you May Think

Legislating morality is appropriate, required, and inevitable—and it’s dangerous to think otherwise. We must be very careful about what morality we legislate, but we the people should be the ones doing it. Our current technique of lawsuits and Supreme Court decisions doesn’t mean morality isn’t legislated; it just means morality is legislated by a few people in black robes.
