Mr Sudhanshu Kumar is a farmer by choice in the state of Bihar, who has experimented and automated orchards growing mango, banana, guava and litchi. His farm journey started in 1988 when he left his job with Tata Tea Gardens in Kerala.
He is a Secretary General of Indian Farmer Network, Cochran Fellow at USDA, elected Mukhiya (president) of the village for more than 20 years, Visitor at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University and foremost an evangelist for modern technology, automation and experimentation in Indian agriculture. He has taken this message to many national and international gatherings and has opened his farms and technology for all others to see and learn.
