Ari Gordon, Ph.D.

Dr. Ari Gordon has been a scholar-practitioner of interfaith relations for 20 years. He currently serves as Director of Muslim-Jewish Relations at American Jewish Committee (AJC), where he builds partnership around issues of common concern and fosters productive engagement around difference. A graduate of Yeshiva University (BA '05), Harvard Divinity School (MTS '10), and University of Pennsylvania (PhD '18), Ari is author of the recently published work Sacred Orientation in Late Antiquity and Early Islam. He lives in the Bronx, NY with his wife Shuli and their three children Freddie, Leona, and Sunny.
