Stakeholder Capitalism and ESG Under the Trump Administration

Despite significant progress in rolling back the most destructive and egregious elements of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) crusade, its advocates remain legion. Diversity-focused staff and centers still exist at most major universities - just with new branding. Larry Fink and others like him have publicly changed their tune regarding pushing renewable energy and DEI requirements, but most have not really changed their ideals. The Trump administration has done a great deal to rollback DEI within government agencies and with government contractors, but much more can and should be done.
