LORE is an old word finding new life, especially among college students. A recent Wall Street Journal article suggests that lore is “shorthand for the rich back story necessary to fully appreciate a work,”—conveying character, narrative, and deep history. Nunes culls from the backstory of 40 years of leadership in faith-based non-profit and academic institutions for keys to individual and organizational flourishing.
1) Listening attentively.
2) Opining narratively & interrogatively.
3) Reflecting intellectually.
4) Executing empathetically.
