The First Society: The Covenant of Marriage

Getting marriage right is more important - and difficult - than ever. What difference does it make to view the marital bond as a covenant, and not merely a contract? How can Christians living the grace of the sacrament of marriage effect a transformation of our culture? How is it that the sacrament of marriage makes lifelong fidelity possible, though not necessarily easy? Why does secular liberalism get marriage so wrong, and how does that undermine a just and stable social order? The way people live their sexuality has a direct and profound effect on the common good, rightly understood.
