Americans rightly refer to religious freedom as the “first freedom” and recognize it as the sacred birthright of all people. Recently, research has shown that countries that respect religious freedom also have higher levels of peace and prosperity. This course will consider how religious freedom, an inalienable human right, contributes to political stability and economic growth.
